I'm a 30-something single and fabulous southern lady who is on a journey of mass proportions. In 2011, I quit my ever-so-boring job to pursue my dream of writing and editing full time. Over the last year of freelance life, I've taken on some amazing, creative projects. I've learned more about where my true passions for writing and creating really lie.
The Highlights:
~ I got a contract with a large university working in the educational testing field.
~ Started editing for a men's fashion magazine. I am a copywriter, editor, and feature writer. My name appeared on my very first masthead!
~ I got to interview my first professional athlete from one of my favorite teams, the Texas Rangers.
~ I sang the National Anthem at a Rangers game and met a movie star in the process.
~ Fell in love with an amazing man, who I hope to spend the rest of my life with.
~ Began working at a stationery store in my neighborhood where I help people plan fantastic parties.
~ Landed my first marketing client, a Christian author. I help plan her books signings and market her awesome poetry.
~ Realized that I absolutely LOVE interior decorating, and began making over my 1920s duplex.
~ Decided to revamp my blog to follow my design & life passions!
My life is full of pursuing my dreams, fabulous friends, dating dilemmas, lack of sleep, last minute road trips, deep conversations, life lessons, crazy family members, juggling projects, a cute dog, singing at the top of my lungs, and the observations of all of them thrown in with a LOT of faith.
